ATMA
ATMA or AIMS Test for Management Schools is an MBA entrance test which is a comprehensive admission test for the Post Graduate Management Programs ranging from PGDM, MBA, MCA and few others. It is conducted by AIMS (The Association of Indian Management Schools). ATMA exam usually occurs in the online mode and is a single-window test. It is objective in nature. This test is conducted nationwide, across all states and is also an MBA exam that is accepted by AICTE and Ministry of HRD. ATMA exam is conducted 3 to 4 times in a year with the tentative months being February, May, July and August. ATMA exam score is valid for the duration of 1 year, starting from the particular exam date at which the candidate decides to give the exam. ATMA score is valid across many prominent colleges including Prin. LN Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research, IBS-ICFAI Hyderabad, FMS-IRS Jaipur, SRM University and many more.
Eligibility Criteria
Students must fulfil the following eligibility criteria if they wish to appear for the ATMA exam in 2021:
- Applicant should be a citizen of India
- Applicant should hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum 50% aggregate (45% for reserved category) from a recognized university. For a PWD candidate as well, the qualifying marks are 45%
- A provisional application for the students in the final year of their graduation program
- Both work experience and non-work experience candidates can apply
- There is no age limit to the selection process
- The applicant can appear for the ATMA test any number of times in a year. If the candidate appears for the examination more than 1 time, the latest ATMA score will be considered for evaluation based on ATMA cut-off of that attempt

Marking Scheme
- Every correct question is awarded 1 mark
- Every wrong question invites -0.25 marks
- Every un-attempted question is awarded 0 marks
How to Register for ATMA 2021?
- The window for registration of ATMA exam 2021 will tentatively open in the third week of November 2020.
- The registration forms will be available on the official website of ATMA/AIMS. To go to the official website, Click here.
- The application form has to be filled online as there is no provision to fill it offline
The documents required for ATMA 2021 registration are as follows:
- Passport size photograph and signature of the candidate (Digital copy)
- Documentation proof if the candidate belongs to any reserved category (SC/ST/OBC- digital copy)
- Marksheets of 10th, 12th and Graduation (Digital copies)
- Step 1 in the process is registering on the portal after filling in some basic details which include- candidate’s name, date of birth, Email Id, phone number etc. and verified the details using OTP on the mobile number.
- Application fee payment: This is the second step after the candidate has registered on the portal. The fee payment can be done through credit card/debit card of any bank, net banking as well as UPI method. Once the payment is successful, the candidate will be receiving a confirmation over the e-mail and will also receive an identification number that will be unique to each candidate. This has to be used as the credential for logging in to the website hereafter.
- After the candidate has received the login credentials, they need to login to the platform and fill the detailed application form. Here they are required to fill in details such as an address for further communication, a preferred city that they want to use the exam centre, education qualifications, marks and percentage obtained in Class 10, Class 12 and graduation. Candidates are also required to choose their choice of institutes where they wish to use their ATMA 2021 score and upload the required documents such as photograph and signatures.

Fee Structure
Form fee is 1298/- in INR and is non-refundable. This fee is the same across all categories of candidates including the reserved category and only concession available is for women candidates.
Discount on form fees for women candidates is 25% and that for women candidates belonging to the North-Eastern states get a discount on 50% on the form fees.
