ATMA or AIMS Test for Management Admissions is a national level MBA entrance exam conducted by AIMS i.e. Association of Indian Management School. ATMA exam is scheduled to be held 4-5 times in a year and is accepted by several top B-schools of India.
ATMA entrance exam is a 3-hour Computer Based Test and consists of 3 sections, namely, Quantitative Skills, Analytical Reasoning Skills, and Verbal Skills. Each of these sections is further divided into 2 sub sections, making it a total of 6 sections. For every correct answer candidate scores +1 and for every wrong answer 0.25 is deducted.

This section in ATMA 2020 comprised of 5 RC passages with 6 questions each that were easy to moderate. Jumbled paragraphs and fill in the blanks also formed an important part of the section with 5 questions each and an easy to moderate level. The overall section was moderate as the level of the antonyms and sentence correction was tough.

Analytical Section of ATMA 2020 was overall moderately difficult. Section I comprised of questions from critical reasoning, arrangements, statement inference, statement conclusions and data sufficiency while section II was made up majorly of coding-decoding and strengthen and weaken arguments. An attempt of 43-44 questions with an accuracy of 90% was considered to be a good attempt.

The level of difficulty of quants section in ATMA 2020 was moderate to difficult. Candidates considered this section as time consuming and lengthy. With a 90% accuracy, if a candidate attempted 43-45 questions, it could be termed as a good attempt. Data Interpretation portion formed a major part of the section with 17 questions in total and a moderate difficulty level. Other major topics were modern math, numbers and algebra.

As per the above analysis, the overall difficulty of questions in ATMA 2020 was moderate to difficult. In verbal section, the questions were mainly direct and easy. A score of 32-36 can be considered a good score in this section. While, quants seemed to be lengthy and had a few difficult questions, a score of 37-39 is a decent score. In analytical reasoning, a score of 30-32 is considered a good score. Overall, a score of 110-120 could help a student get admission in college of his or her choice.
