Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is an aptitude entrance examination conducted by the NTA (National Testing Agency) for admission to some of the into some of the Top MBA/PGDM colleges across India. CMAT Exam was held on 24th January 2020. CMAT 2020 had 4 sections i.e., Language Skills, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation and General Awareness. The overall marks of CMAT 2020 Exam consists of 400 marks and the duration of the exam was 3 hours.
The section wise analysis for CMAT 2020 Slot 1 is as follows:
Each question carried 4 marks for every correct answer and there was a negative marking of – 1 mark for every incorrect answer.
CMAT 2020 Exam Analysis for Language Skills Section was easy to moderate in terms of the difficulty level. There were total 3 Reading Comprehension passages asked in the exam. The passages were lengthy but easily comprehendible. The Verbal Ability and Grammar had easy questions. Overall 18-21 questions were considered to be good attempts with high accuracy.

• Dangling Modifiers
• Usage on Words, etc.
CMAT 2020 Exam Analysis for Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation Section was moderate to difficult in terms of difficulty level as it included more calculations to solve the questions. Overall about 18-20 questions was considered to be good attempts.

• Arithmetic-Ratio, Mixtures & Allegations, Time & Work, Averages, Percentages, Time, speed & Distance, Profit and loss, Interest, etc.

CMAT 2020 Exam Analysis for Logical Reasoning had mix variety of questions asked such as arrangement, sequencing, linear and arrangement of coding with conditions. Overall it was Easy to moderate in terms of difficulty level and about 21-23 questions with high accuracy was considered to be good attempt.
