Many MBA entrance exams in India include General Awareness questions or General Knowledge (GK) section as a part of their paper pattern. Some of the prominent exams include CMAT, XAT, IIFT, MAT, MICAT etc. The GK section in MBA entrance test aims at testing the general know-how and test the knowledge of current affairs and other GK topics. When it comes to preparation of these exams, most of the aspirants focus only on the common sections like Verbal Ability, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning. But they should not forget that GK section is also equally important in terms of weightage in these exams. Many toppers suggest that you should read newspapers daily in order to excel in CMAT GK and other MBA entrances. It is also suggested that students should go through GK PDFs online for topic wise GK questions and answers.
