IBSAT 2020 Exam Analysis : IBSAT entrance exam in 2020 comprised of 140 questions and 4 Sections. The duration of the test was 120 minutes. Each question had five options and carried one mark each; there was no negative marking.
IBSAT Exam 2020 was conducted by The ICFAI Foundation For Higher Education (Declared as a Deemed-to-be-University), for students seeking admission to the following programs such as 2 year MBA full time program at IBS campuses like Hyderabad, Dehradun, Jaipur, etc. 4 year Ph.D Program at IBS Hyderabad, 2 year full time PGPM at 5 IBS Campuses like Pune, Ahmedabad, Gurgaon, Mumbai and Kolkata. ICFAI Foundation conducted IBSAT Exam 2021 held in separate sessions on 26th and 27th December, 2020. IBSAT is the MBA entrance exam for MBA admission in some of the 9 ICFAI B-Schools spread across the country.

IBSAT Exam Analysis 2020 Section wise detailed Analysis:
IBSAT Exam Analysis 2020 for the Verbal Ability was similar to the previous year. Overall Verbal Ability Section was Easy as compared to other sections. Grammar was moderate as per the level of difficulty whereas rest of the questions were easy. One must try to spend approximately 20-30 minutes and not more than that in this particular section. Also a good attempt of about 33-35 questions for this particular section is considerate to be good.

• Idioms & Phrases

• Cloze the Passage

IBSAT Exam Analysis 2020 for Reading Comprehension Section was factual and direct as most of the questions. It had 4 Reading Comprehension passages of about 500-950 words in each passage. Some of the other questions were inference based which took some more time to answer those type of questions. One must not spend more than 30 minutes time. Also a good attempt of about 21-23 questions for this particular section is considered to be good.
Reading Comprehension Passages topics asked were as follows:
RC 1 – A Celestial Star (450-500 words)
RC 2 –Earthquake (750-800 words)
RC 3 – Election & Economy (800-850 words)
RC 4 – Ecosystem (800-900 words)
IBSAT Exam Analysis 2020 for Data Adequacy & Data Interpretation Section questions were based on Logical thinking and Data Adequacy. This section was more time consuming compared to other sections. The DI sets were calculation intensive and needed faster techniques to solve them. Overall this sections level of difficulty was moderate to difficult. A good attempt of about 20-21 questions for this particular section is considered good.
IBSAT Exam Analysis 2020 for Quantitative Aptitude Section had mixed no. set of questions based upon Arithmetic, Algebra, Modern Math, Geometry, etc. The level of difficulty for this particular section was moderate to difficult. And some questions were slightly on the more difficult level. Ideal attempts for this particular section is 17-19 questions and it is considered as good attempts.
