IIFT 2021 Analysis : IIFT (Indian Institute of Foreign Trade) Exam was conducted on 24th January 2021 for the batch of the year 2021-2023. The test is being conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). The IIFT Exam Paper was similar on the lines with the previous year with 4 sections and a total of 110 number of questions to be solved in 120 minutes.
The IIFT MBA entrance exam is a national-level competitive aptitude test conducted by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. The IIFT exam is for aspirants who wish to get admission into IIFT’s flagship program as in International Business (IB) which is a six-trimester general management residential program with a focus on International Business. The candidates who meet the cut-offs are eligible for admission into IIFT’s Delhi or Kolkata campus and Kakinada. Note: As per the IIFT Exam Analysis 2020 the above questions also had Negative Marks for every incorrect answer: for sections such as QA, VARC & DILR there is negative 1 mark and for General Awareness there was a negative mark of 0.5.
IIFT Exam Analysis 2020 for the Quantitative Ability section was considered as one of the toughest section in the question paper. Most of the questions were lengthy and took a lot of time. This section was dominated by questions on Arithmetic and Modern Math. Out of 25 questions 13 were from Arithmetic, 6 were from Geometry and so on as shown in the given below table.

IIFT Exam Analysis 2020 for the Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension section was overall with the moderate level of difficulty. Reading Comprehension had 16 questions whereas the remaining 19 questions were based on Verbal Ability. Most of the questions in this particular section was considered to be factual in nature.

IIFT Exam Analysis 2020 for the DI & LR Section are as follows: Out of the 30 questions in these particular section, 16 questions were based on Data Interpretation (DI) which consisted of 4 sets with four questions in each and from that 3 sets was easily doable. The remaining 14 questions were based on Logical Reasoning (LR). Overall, this section was considered as moderate – difficult because of LR part being extremely difficult and DI was easy and doable.

Overall attempts of approximately 12-14 questions is considered to be good with high accuracy.
IIFT Exam Analysis 2020 for the General Awareness Section i.e. the GK section had 20 questions. The section consisted of normal MCQs.
There were approximately 15 questions were based on static GK questions and remaining 5 questions were based on Current Affairs. Questions covered a wide range of areas including company brands, international organizations, sports, geography, history, national current affairs, etc.
The General Awareness section was overall difficult than the previous year. There were more questions based on Static GK and less based on current affairs. An overall attempt of about 8 to 10 questions with good accuracy would be considered a good attempt.
