IIFT Exam Analysis 2021 for the Quantitative Ability section was considered as one of the toughest section in the question paper. Most of the questions were lengthy and very much time consuming. This section was dominated by questions on Arithmetic and Modern Math. Out of 25 questions 8 were from Modern Math, followed by 7 on Arithmetic, 6 on Geometry and so on as shown in the below table.

Reading Comprehension section was considered as the difficult whereas the Verbal Ability was considered as the easiest section. Verbal Ability was even considered as slightly easier compared to the last year.

IIFT Exam Analysis 2021 for the DI & LR Section are as follows: Out of the 30 questions in these particular section, 16 questions were based on Data Interpretation (DI) which consisted of four sets with four questions in each and the remaining 14 questions were based on Logical Reasoning (LR). Overall, this section was considered as moderate to difficult.
The DI sets which came in the exam were more difficult than they actually were. All the DI sets had multiple graphs such as four line graph, 2 pie charts, 2 bar graphs and bar graph + table. The questions were based on observation as well as quick calculations. From that only one set was fairly calculation intensive.
Out of the 14 questions on Logical Reasoning, 12 were spread across with 4 sets. 2 sets having 3 questions each, 1 set having 4 questions and 1 set having 2 questions. There were also some of the standalone questions. The standalone LR questions were relatively straightforward and should have attempted without any fail. The LR sets consisted one set on tournaments and two sets on matrix arrangement. There was one set with two questions on family tree. Out of the two standalone questions, one question was on Verbal Reasoning and it was the only question on that particular question.
Overall, the sets on DI were easier compared to the LR sets. However, because DI and LR were combined in the same section students must have aimed at solving the majority of DI sets before attempting any of the LR questions.
Overall attempts of 12-14 questions is considered to be good with high accuracy.
IIFT Exam Analysis 2021 for the General Awareness Section i.e. the GK section had 20 questions. The section consisted of normal MCQs and also the match the column questions which are like 2 column questions typical asked in IIFT Exam only.
There were approximately 5 static GK questions and 15 Current Affairs questions. Questions covered a wide range of areas including company brands & logos, government schemes, international organizations, sports, geography, awards, national affairs, etc. and did not give any advantage to candidates having any expertise in a particular area.
The GA section was very easy and less difficult than the previous year. An overall attempt of about 11 to 12 questions with good accuracy would be considered a good attempt.
