NMAT Exam Analysis 2020, NMAT Exam was held in the month of October i.e. from 4th November 2020 till 31st January 2021. It also had the additional window for 1 week introduced for NMAT Exam 2020.
The NMAT Exam is a computer based online entrance exam and has 3 sections such as Language Skills, Quantitative Ability and Logical Reasoning. The students were free to decide upon the sequence of sections they want to select to attempt the exam. All the 3 sections had equal number of questions i.e., 36 questions in each. The 3 sections were timed as 28 minutes for Language Skills section, 52 minutes for Quantitative Ability section and 40 minutes for Logical Reasoning section.
NMAT Exam 2020 allowed students to select the exam mode, date, timing and the center of the exam as per the aspirants’ convenience. NMAT exam, certainly, is one of the most standardized exams. NMAT Exam score is accepted by NMIMS University and other 30+ leading B-schools and Universities. Also, there is a huge penalty for unsolved questions. There were no technical glitches reported by anyone during the exams and the exam seemed to have been conducted smoothly across all the centers in the country.

NMAT Exam Analysis 2020 was an adaptive exam, if a candidate scored well and all the starting answers were correct than he or she would get more difficult questions which will eventually help the candidates to score well. The easier the questions the student gets he is bound to scoreless in the Actual Exam because of adaptive scoring pattern.
NMAT Exam Analysis 2020 for Quantitative Skills Section, out of the 36 questions, majority of the questions i.e., 19 were based upon intensive calculations and problem solving. About the 12 questions were based upon Data Interpretation and remaining 5 questions were based upon data sufficiency. The questions asked were from diverse areas such as Arithmetic such as Percentages, Time & Work, Ratios & Proportion, Simple & Compound Interest, Mixtures, etc. Modern Math topics such as Probability, Logarithms, Set Theory, Permutation & Combination, etc. Numbers, Geometry, Data Interpretation such as Bar Chart, Line Graph, Table, whereas for Data Sufficiency miscellaneous topics were asked.
NMAT Exam Analysis 2020 for Logical Reasoning Section some about 18 questions were based upon Verbal Reasoning, and remaining 18 questions were based on Non-verbal Reasoning. Verbal Reasoning had the usual type of questions such as Implicit Statements, Strong Argument, Weak Argument, Deductions, Critical Reasoning, Course of Action, Statements and Conclusion, Assumptions, Logical Consistency, Syllogisms, etc.
Now questions from Non-verbal Reasoning were based upon Venn Diagrams, Grouping & Conditionalities, Input-Output, Rankings, Logical Puzzle, Figure based Numerical, etc.
NMAT Exam Analysis 2020 for Language Skills Section had questions based upon Reading Comprehension of about 12 questions i.e., 3 sets in total and 24 questions based upon Verbal Ability. The test comprised of the following question types such as Spot the Errors, Fill in the blanks with Prepositions, Analogies, Vocabulary, Para jumbles, Cloze the Test, etc.
While attempting any of the particular question, which requires vertical scrolling it is recommended that the test taking aspirants scrolls down completely to the bottom of the computer screen else the screen will not move to the next question even after clicking on Next which might consume a lot of time.
The Test Exam User Interface (UI) is almost same to previous year’s NMAT Exam. It has total of 3 buttons at the bottom:
1. Help: To read the instructions carefully.
2. Colours: To select the black font on white background or white font on a black background.
3. Zoom: To select a view of 100%, 125% & 150% to make approximate changes in the font.
Overall, NMAT Exam Analysis 2020 with usually, a scaled score of around 235-245 is equivalent to 99 percentiles in the NMAT Exam 2020
