Speaking of the previous year’s NMIMS NPAT paper, the level of difficulty has been observed to be moderate. However, due to Covid 19, there were some changes observed in the NPAT previous year papers, it was held in a remote proctored manner meaning students had to attempt the paper from their home. The overall level of difficulty was moderate, with the Quantitative and Numerical Ability on the difficult side, there was a major emphasis on progressions and functions making this section relatively trickier to attempt. Candidates could not switch between sections and they had to attempt the NPAT paper in a format, namely English Section, Reasoning, and Quantitative towards the end. Other than the Quantitative section, the difficulty level in other sections was set at moderate. The level of difficulty for the NPAT engineering paper was set moderately difficult.
NPAT exam pattern of 2021 had a moderate level of difficulty, with the Quantitative and Numerical section being tricky, emphasis on this section of NPAT paper was mainly on Arithmetic, Progressions, Trigonometry, Number Systems, and Functions. The Reasoning section saw many questions based on Spatial Reasoning and Syllogisms. The Verbal section saw many questions on Para-Jumbles and Syllogisms.
