Organizational behaviour is the study of individual and group performance and activity in an organization. Its four major elements are common purpose, coordinated effort, division of labour, and the hierarchy of authority.

Industrial Relations is the study of the relationship between employees and employers in the workplace. So, IR is mainly a two-way communication process between managers and workers.

Strategic Human Resource Management or SHRM as it is commonly known as is a major subject on which HR students need to be certified as well.
