MH CET Law was introduced by the Government of Maharashtra in 2016 conducted by Maharashtra CET Cell once a year usually in February or March to grant admission to students in top law colleges including government law college, BAMU, and many more in the state. The seat intake capacity of a 3-year MAH-LLB course is 15000 seats. The exam will be conducted across 18 cities of Maharashtra consists of 150 objective type questions and the time duration is 2 hours. The exam paper is divided into 4 sections for a 3-year program, which are the core areas to test a candidate’s ability. The score obtained in the exam remains valid for the academic year in which the student has given the exam. There will be a total of 125 colleges for a 3-year program that will participate in the process which will release category-wise cutoffs and grant admission to students after having MH CET Law counseling. Maharashtra CET cell has the right to add and remove colleges from the list of participating colleges in MH CET Law.

a) Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning: This section will examine the candidate’s interest in the study of Law, Legal aptitude, and problem-solving ability.
b) General Knowledge with Current Affairs: The subject is to assess the knowledge of the recent happenings and awareness of the world
c) Logical and Analytical Reasoning: The subject will test the candidate’s ability to identify patterns, logical links, and rectify illogical arguments.
d) English: This section will consist of questions from the areas like Vocabulary (Synonyms, Antonyms, Analogies, etc.) Proficiency (Idioms and Phrases, one-word Substitution, Sentence Improvement, and rearrangement, fill in the blanks, etc) English Usage Errors (Common errors, Spotting errors, inappropriate usage of words, spelling mistakes, etc.) English Comprehension

Step 1: Registration
The candidate will be visiting the official website of Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Maharashtra, and click on the
“MAH LLB 3-year registration link”
1. Afterward, candidates need to register their details such as name, email ID, mobile number, and other contact information.
2. After submitting these details, the provisional registration number will be sent which candidates need to save and keep for future reference.
3. Further, candidates will receive their application number as well as passwords on the email ID and mobile number registered by them.

Step 3: Upload Photo & Signature
Candidates will then upload scanned copies of the signature and photograph of themselves. The signature needs to be done with a black ink pen on white paper.
