NPAT-7 Step Selection Process

What is NPAT?

NPAT is an entrance exam conducted by NMIMS to get admission into their undergraduate degree. Upon clearing this exam, a student is given an opportunity to join 11 different colleges for their under-graduation courses. NPAT is also accepted by various campuses of NMIMS, Including Hyderabad, Indore & Navi Mumbai. The selection is based on the merit rank of the candidate appearing in NPAT 2022. Students can enroll themselves from an array of undergraduate courses from the field of commerce, economics, design, pharmacy, advertising, management and engineering. Among a host of other entrance exams, NPAT seeks candidate registration of over 80,000.

Step 1: NPAT Eligibility

All candidates who have completed their higher education and want to pursue management courses like BBA, B. Com (Hons.), B.Sc. Economics Program of NMIMS campuses have to appear for online NPAT Exam.

Step 2: College Preference

Mention your college preference at the time of NPAT registration. NPAT 2022 Registration will close on 20th June 2022 tentatively.

Step 3: Merit rank

NPAT authorities will not disclose the actual score of NPAT Exam. Instead, they will share the merit number of different colleges for which you had given preference at the time of NPAT registration. NPAT 2022 exam date will be 26th June tentatively. 

Step 4: Basis of Merit List

After NPAT, merit list will be prepared as per the marks and it will be displayed on the NPAT website as per the given date. School of Branding & Advertising has an additional interview round for the shortlisted candidates. 

Step 5: Waitlisted

If you are waitlisted, then you have to wait for 2nd merit list which will be displayed on the website as per the given schedule. 

Step 6: Documents

Selected students will have to upload required document from the link provided in the admission offer letter. Institute will verify the uploaded documents; and then the candidate can make the fees payment. 

Step 7: Other Preferences

In case the candidate is selected for more than one school in the merit list and has secured admission in the preferred school; and further wishes to secure admission in the second school as per the selected preference, then the candidate will require to cancel its admission from the first school in order to secure admission to the next school of among preferences. NPAT qualified candidate can be admitted to a single school only.
