Symbiosis National Aptitude Test abbreviated as SNAP Test is a management aptitude test for a candidate aspiring to join an MBA programme offered by the Symbiosis International (Deemed) University and any of its 16 constituent institutes. The SNAP syllabus comprises of questions from General English, Quantitative-Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency and Analytical & Logical Reasoning and the exam is a computer based test(CBT). After successful completion of the SNAP exam, candidates are invited for Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interaction (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT), conducted by SIU institutes individually in February and March. Once all the constituent institutes have completed their GE-PIWAT in the respective Symbiosis campus in Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Nagpur and Nashik, results are declared by the individual colleges in March and April according to separate merit lists.
On an average, about 50,000-60,000 students go for SNAP registrations. The top 5 SNAP colleges offering MBA in specialized fields or general MBA are SIBM Pune, SCMHRD Pune, SIIB Pune, SIBM Bangalore and SIOM Nashik. The SNAP exam dates and SNAP exam pattern procedures will be discussed further in this article for the SNAP Symbiosis colleges respectively.
